It took a long time to make- there was a record company merger to deal with and the journey was intense and emotional but eventually very enlightening. I know this sounds dumb but I am so so happy with this album, so proud of it. A testimony to the wonderful road Gil and I have had the honor of travelling.

With this album we've come full circle, for like our first, it was recorded live, no second chance, one unforgettable night, but this time with a huge orchestra on stage and a couple of thousand people in the hall. My wonderful voice teacher, Hanna HaCohen, introduced me to the song and worked on it with me with a unique mixture of patience and passion. In addition to our originals, I decided to embrace some new challenges:" Shir Mishmar'', a haunting Israel classic arranged by Gil, "My Funny Valentine", and finally "Glitter and Be Gay", a crazy aria from Leonard Bernstein's opera "Candide", that demands some serious coloratura singing. He did an incredible job, sensitive and tasteful and brilliant, creating a beautiful bridge between the orchestra and ourselves. This project would never have gotten off the ground without Ilan.

Gil approached Ilan Mochiach ,a fantastic musician and long time friend, who agreed to take upon himself the task of arranging a selection of our songs for orchestra and conducting. We were very excited about the proposal because we always felt our music had strong classical elements that would lend themselves naturally and beautifully to a symphonic environment.

The "Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra" offered us the opportunity to participate in their special concert series titled "The Philharmonic in Jeans". It's a beautiful album we're very proud of, and I really think it was the stem from which "Blue Touches Blue"eventually blossomed. It was released only in Israel but has since been "smuggled" across the border to fans all over the world, who couldn't wait for the next international release. The song "Boker", which appears on our new album "Blue Touches Blue", appears here in its original version, as does "On and On", in its Hebrew version. We also added "Niga el Hachalom" ("To Touch the Dream") by Shalom Hanoch, a song we recorded in memory of our assassinated Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin. All the songs were written, arranged and producedin Israel by Gil and myself with the exception of "Aval Ahava" ("But Love") that is a poem by Meir Vizeltier to which we wrote music.

This album was my first attempt at lyric writing in Hebrew, all original, without leaning on the strong pillars of fine poetry.
